I experienced the same problem while trying to install a 64-bit version of Linux Mint inside VirtualBox. I opened VirtualBox, clicked on NEW, entered a name for the virtual machine, choose the type of operating system, but when I wanted to choose a version, I only saw 32-bit versions and NO 64-bit versions as an option. I don't wanna install Ubuntu Linux though because this guy said I should install Kali Linux 32 bit because it has all the hacking tools you need and he said u can then install games on it which for this case I want to install Steam to play two games at once for e.g. Kali Linux (32-bit software virtualization) Error; Kernel Panic During Install or Live Boot Through VirtualBox 'panic during install or booting.iso ' (my interpretation) seems to contradict 'built a kernel' Also, what OS in the VBox 'host'?
